Some things that have been donated so far are:  board games, DVD movies, card games, candy, gift cards to restaurants. Any more of these would be good donations, or if you’ve got something else in mind, that’s great too.  If you would like to volunteer at the carnival, please click on the link below!

*Our Valentine’s Day party was a lot of fun! The kids really enjoyed decorating cookies. Click on the link below to see the finished products!

*We are still collecting Box Tops. At your convenience, please send in any that you may have at home.  Thank you!

*I will not be at school Tuesday, February 19 (tomorrow). Mrs. Hecht will be our substitute. I will be back on Wednesday.

*We will have early release this Thursday, February 21st. School is dismissed at 1:25.  Lunch WILL be served.

*I’m seeing a lot of improvements with regard to the children’s editing skillschecking punctuation, capitalization, etc. Thank you for working with them at home on this skill as they prepare for their weekly spelling test.  Capitalization and punctuation are not very exciting to a first grader, so this can be a challenge to turn into a habit of checking over work. Thanks again for helping!
